Do you ever feel like the bullseye keeps moving? Did you think you finally knew where the objective was and just about the time you arrived it changed again. That’s often the way men feel today. We thought we were supposed to be like John Wayne, wait… no, like Rocky then Arnold, or George Lopez or Brad Pit. Hold it! Would you believe that you’re already made like the one that never changes. 
Calvary currently has a men’s Sunday morning class that covers modern challenges from a biblical perspective. We discuss the things that get in the way of being the kind of man that God describes throughout the Bible. We aren’t afraid to look into God’s Word to find our way out of the mold that society tries to force us into. We believe God’s expectations of a man are freeing not confining. It needs to be about what we do not what we don’t do
We encourage and plan activities designed to help local ministries and individuals with tasks that may be outside of their abilities or expertise. We do these things because of the value that God puts on serving others… it’s a way to share the love that we receive from God.We’re in the  process of planning the details of our “Kill-It & Grill-it” Potluck coming up on February 16th. It’s for all men no matter what their interests are. Its really simple to understand how it works; everyone brings something to eat- something you caught, shot or bought so you don’t have to be into hunting or fishing to come eat together and have a good time. It really is a “guy thing” and it’s just aimed at getting together and having some fun away from the things we usually have to focus on! Carve it into your calendar.
